Concept:
"Oper Objekt" is a visual experiment blending real-world footage with digital artistry. The Vienna Opera Building takes center stage as I harnessed the creative power of Houdini, After Effects, and Octane Render to craft a dynamic animation.
Workflow:
I started with filmed footage of the Opera Building, tracked its motion, and seamlessly integrated a simple Houdini collider. The magic happened as digital spheres elegantly (through smoke advection) emerged from the windows, choreographed to harmonize with the building's architecture. After combining everything using Octane Render, After Effects added the final cinematic touch.
Purpose:
This project is my playground for exploring the capabilities of Houdini, After Effects, and Octane Render. "Oper Objekt" is a short, visually striking showcase, emphasizing the beauty that arises when technology and creativity converge.
